Hazbin Hotel follows the story of Charlie Morningstar, Princess of Hell and daughter of Lucifer & Lilith, as she tries to establish a hotel designed to rehabilitate Sinners in the hopes that they'll be able to enter Heaven instead—thereby solving Hell's overpopulation problem and preventing the angels from carrying out their yearly massacre to keep Hell under control. The problem is, nobody—not even the angels—have any idea how or why anybody actually gets into Heaven in the first place.

Her skin is completely pale white, her eyes yellow with red irises, and she has fangs and lil hoofies (though those are sort of hidden by the fact that she also wears shoes). The black lips and nails and the red circle marks on her cheeks are apparently natural.

Charlie is the super optimistic and cheerful Princess of Hell who believes heavily in redemption and the power of second chances. She's basically a Disney princess that runs down the street singing about her feelings and getting really excited about the possibility of cuddling soft and cute animals. Except she also says fuck. She's extremely enthusiastic and energetic and deeply wants to help everyone around her, to the point where she sometimes tap-dances right over boundaries or social cues. She really does mean well, though she has a temperamental streak when people are being especially cruel or unjust.
